Marketing design for Hinsdale agents

A historic village with a small, walkable downtown and some of the most significant new construction in the western suburbs.

The market

Hinsdale grew around its Metra BNSF station and still has the feel of a railroad village: a compact downtown, tree canopy, and streets of large homes within walking distance of the train. Its housing ranges from preserved Victorian and Colonial Revival homes to substantial new builds that have replaced older houses on the same lots.

That mix means two very different kinds of luxury listing are sold side by side. A preserved historic home is sold on its character and history; a new build is sold on its plan, its systems and its finish schedule. Each needs its own approach in print and online.

What sells here

  • New construction luxury homes on established lots
  • Preserved Victorian and Colonial Revival homes
  • Estate properties on larger parcels
  • A limited supply of downtown condominiums and townhomes

What the marketing has to do

  • Specification-led brochures for new construction: plan, materials and builder information as you supply them.
  • Heritage-led property books for historic homes, with archival material where the seller has it.
  • Quiet, consistent signage and riders that suit a village with a strong sense of itself.
